BHS Registration, Spring Shadowing, and Parent Nights:
*On or around November 2nd: BIS and other Middle schools will receive flyers outlining enrollment and residency procedures for SMUHSD schools.
*On or around November 10th: Enrollment procedures and district residency verification notices will be sent to parents of all feeder schools.
Eighth grade district-wide parent information nights:

Enrollment:
SMUHSD has determined enrollment capacities at each school within the district. Every effort will be made to be certain your child gets enrolled in their resident school and will be done during the "Priority Residency Verification/Enrollment" dates (see below).
Due Dates for Enrollment and residency paperwork: December 7-February 12.
Here are the requirements:
1. Proof of residency within the district (see below). This must be established PRIOR TO enrollment. You can bring both forms in with proof of residency but cannot attempt to complete enrollment form without the proof of residency documents.
2. Paper work must be submitted to the SMUHSD office at 650 Delaware St. San Mateo 8:00am-3:00pm M-F or until 8:00pm M/W beginning January 6th - January 27th.
Required paperwork for proof of residency for homeowners:
Deed of Trust
Current Property Tax Bill
Escrow Letter (Closing or Final)
Current Tax Assessment Card (showing ownership by the parent or legal guardian of the child)â¨â¨AND
Current Utility Bill, and
Student's Birth Certificate or Passport
Required paperwork for proof of residency for renters:
Lease/Rental Agreement (with name and phone number of owner and property managerâ¨â¨AND
