The Block B program at Burlingame Intermediate School strives to develop well-rounded students. The Block B Society has been a part of BIS since the founding of the school, and has a long history of encouraging school pride and personal achievement. Block B students are recognized at the end of each trimester by faculty and peers for their commitment to their education and school. To become a Block B member, BIS students earn points each trimester by striving for academic excellence, participating in extracurricular
activities, and performing community service within the Burlingame School District.
