BIS PTA Information
The BIS PTA is a team of parents, teachers, and staff that raise funds to support classroom enrichment programs and continuing education for teachers, various programs for students, parent education, and school supplies. Our primary fundraising events include the Magazine Drive, Walk-N-Rock event, and Spring Fling that raise over $50,000 per year. EScrip members also generate funds through merchant contributions. Your Involvement Makes a Difference
Research shows that when parents are involved, students perform at a higher level. We promote parent involvement through volunteerism in a variety of committees and activities. There are many volunteer opportunities that range from a single event to weekly help on campus.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
- You can read the weekly online announcements on School Loop for information about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. If you have questions regarding volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinators or Co-Presidents (see Executive Board information below).
- You can attend PTA meetings and share your thoughts and ideas.

PTA meetings are held at 8:45 am on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Principal's Conference Room (except for the September Meeting, held in the Media Center).
